Eric Smith began his formal training of drawing and painting at the age of nine. Throughout most of his life, in San Angelo, Texas, working with many forms of media in school, he developed a style for using multi-media in single designs.

In 1998 he took a brake from art to study government and politics. Discerning much of the lies fed to the public by the mainstream media, he began researching the history of governments and members of the global elite that relentlessly seek to control them. The more that he learned about the nature of the world, facilitated him to want to express his knowledge in a graphic and formidable manner. This led him to begin studying communication design at the University of North Texas. A year later, in 2003, he went back to San Angelo and finished his degree there graduating with a BFA-Graphic Design Specialization. After college he moved to Austin for the second time to pursue a career in Graphic Design, where he remains today.

"Through the pursuit of proliferating knowledge of Liberty, Truth and Inalienable Rights, I have always tried to portray the underlying injustices that are undisclosed to the mass populous of the people. By using imagery that is seen at illegal military checkpoints in the U.S., as well as other forms of tyrannical government oppression, a viewer can gain valuable insight into the ubiquitous yet unknown hegemonic military industrial complex that perpetrates inequities upon the sovereign citizens. Truth must be propagated upon the people, not lies. We must find the beauty amidst evil and to have hope amongst despair."
